We move your Zapier and Make scenarios to n8n or custom code — cheaper at volume and under your control

Tools
  • n8n
  • Zapier
  • Make

Our usual stack. We bring in other tools when the task or the project calls for it.

Zapier and Make are handy at the start, but they bill per task and operation, so as volume grows the bills grow faster than the business. Complex scenarios also become fragile and hard to debug.

We move scenarios to n8n or custom code, simplify whatever has grown out of hand and add monitoring.

How the migration works

  • An audit of every scenario and its cost
  • A migration and simplification plan
  • Migration with old and new scenarios running in parallel
  • Results reconciled before the old scenarios are switched off
  • Monitoring and documentation
Challenges

Signs it's time to leave Zapier or Make

  • The Zapier bill grows every month, though the processes haven't changed

We export the run history and find which zaps burn the most tasks. Often it's extra steps and polling instead of a webhook — we remove both during the move.

  • One Make scenario has grown to a hundred modules

We split it into small sub-workflows with clear inputs and outputs. In n8n or code those pieces are easier to test and change one at a time.

  • Errors only show up if someone checks the run history

We add error handling at every step and alerts in Slack or Telegram with the record that failed. A rerun takes one click.

  • The person who built the zaps has left

We go through each scenario, find out why it exists and whether the process is still alive. Dead ones aren't migrated; live ones get documented before the move.

  • Customer data passes through a third-party platform

We move workflows to n8n on your own server in the region you need, so personal data stops flowing through an outside vendor and credentials stay with you.

Is it for you

When migration makes sense

A good fit if

  • Your Zapier or Make bills have climbed along with volume
  • You have many scenarios and they're tangled together
  • You need logic that no-code tools only handle through workarounds
  • You're required to keep data on your own infrastructure

Not a fit if

What you get

Automation without an operations meter

  1. Predictable costs

After the move, cost depends on the server, not the number of operations, so growing volume doesn’t multiply the bill.
  2. Simpler than before

We rebuild sprawling chains of dozens of steps into short, clear workflows that are easy to maintain.
  3. Easy debugging

n8n shows every run and the data at each step, so errors are easy to find and reproduce.
Process

How we work

  1. 01

    Inventory

    2–3 days

We export every Zap and Make scenario, review task usage and find the broken and forgotten ones.

You get A list of scenarios with their volume and a decision for each
  2. 02

    Migration plan

    1–2 days

We decide what moves to n8n, what gets rewritten as code and what can simply be deleted.

You get A migration plan with the order of scenarios
  3. 03

    Rebuilding scenarios

    4–6 days

We rebuild the scenarios on the new platform, keeping the logic and the connections to your tools.

You get Scenarios running on n8n or as code on your server
  4. 04

    Parallel run

    2–3 days

We run the new scenarios alongside the old ones and compare results on the same events.

You get A side-by-side comparison of old and new results
  5. 05

    Switching off

    1 day

We turn off the Zapier and Make scenarios and help you cancel the subscriptions.

You get Old scenarios switched off, documentation and a 3-month bug warranty
Getting started

What a move off Zapier or Make needs

What we need from you
  • Access to your Zapier or Make account with run history
  • Recent invoices so we can see what costs the most
  • A list of scenarios the business can't run without
  • Access to the tools connected in those scenarios
  • A server for n8n or a decision on where it will run
Before we start

A scenario audit call

On a free 30-minute call we review your Zapier or Make account and decide what to move and what to switch off. Then we send a migration plan, a timeline and an estimate.

Zapier bills growing
faster than you?

We’ll audit every scenario and its cost, then move them to n8n or custom code, running old and new side by side until the results match.

It depends on volume: at thousands of tasks a month the difference is usually significant. We estimate the savings on your data before the move.

From $1,500. The total depends on the number of scenarios and steps, how much custom logic is easier to rewrite as code, and whether n8n runs in the cloud or on your server. We send the estimate with a savings calculation after auditing your current scenarios.

Old and new scenarios run in parallel for a while, and we compare results before switching the old ones off.

For n8n it’s preferable, or n8n Cloud works too. We’ll pick an option that fits the budget.

Yes, n8n workflows are built visually, like in Zapier and Make. We leave documentation and show how to make changes.
