Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and protected when you visit https://itelmen.ru/en (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Itelmen (“we”, “us”). Questions and requests: mail@itelmen.ru.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you send the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and the project details you choose to share: services you are interested in, an approximate budget and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site’s servers receive technical data with every request: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time. The Site may also use cookies and web analytics (see “Cookies and analytics”).
We do not ask for sensitive information (health, financial account numbers, government IDs and the like). Please don’t include it in your messages.
How we use information
- to reply to your inquiry and discuss your project;
- to prepare a proposal and to enter into and perform a contract with you;
- to keep the Site working and secure, and to understand aggregate traffic so we can improve it.
We don’t send marketing emails without your separate consent.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only:
- to service providers that host the Site and store data on our behalf, limited to what they need to provide those services;
- when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Where your information is stored
We are based in Russia, and the Site’s data is stored on servers in Russia (hosting provider Beget). If you contact us from the United States or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in Russia, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting engagement, and no longer than three years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email mail@itelmen.ru; we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws have these rights under those laws, to the extent they apply. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information.
Cookies and analytics
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies that it needs to work and to collect aggregate visit statistics. For statistics we may use Yandex Metrica, which processes the data it collects under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Site may then not work as intended. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and account protection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Site links to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new version takes effect when it is posted on this page, with the effective date above.
