Scroll animation, text reveals and smooth page transitions

Tools
  • GSAP
  • Nuxt
  • Figma

Our usual stack. We bring in other tools when the task or the project calls for it.

Good animation doesn’t decorate, it guides the eye: text appears as you read, sections assemble as you scroll, and moving between pages never breaks the experience with a white screen.

We build GSAP animation and page transitions that run smoothly without hurting speed or accessibility.

What we do

  • Text reveals by letter, word and line
  • Scroll-driven section and image animation, parallax
  • Smooth page transitions without reloads
  • Micro-interactions for buttons, links and the cursor
  • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting
Challenges

When motion gets in the way

  • Animations stutter as you scroll

We animate only transform and opacity and drive scroll effects with ScrollTrigger and smooth scrolling. The browser profiler confirms frames don't drop.

  • Everything slides and bounces, and it's annoying

We write a motion vocabulary: durations, easing curves, directions, delays. What helps reading gets animated; the rest is left alone.

  • Page transitions break with a white flash

Transitions run at the router level: the old page leaves while the new one assembles as data loads. Scroll and focus restore correctly, and the back button works.

  • Text reveals so slowly people don't wait for it

We cap reveal durations and trigger them slightly before a block reaches mid-screen. The reader never waits for the text; the text waits for the reader.

  • After adding animation, the site failed an accessibility check

We honor prefers-reduced-motion, keep content visible to screen readers and never lock scrolling. Letter-by-letter splits are built so words still read as whole words.

Is it for you

When animation work makes sense

A good fit if

  • Your site looks static next to competitors, though the structure and copy are solid
  • You have motion designed in Figma or After Effects that needs to become code
  • Your site runs on Nuxt, Next or another SPA framework and needs reload-free transitions
  • Motion should feel consistent across every page

Not a fit if

  • You need a 3D scene or a shader background — that's 3D & shaders
  • The site's structure and copy aren't ready — we'll build the corporate website first, animation later
Principles

Motion with a purpose

  1. One rhythm

Timings and easing are set for the whole site, so every animation feels like part of one character.
  2. Motion that guides

First we decide what the visitor should notice, then how to show it. Animation without a job doesn’t make it onto the site.
  3. Smooth on phones too

We animate what browsers render cheaply and test on real phones, not just a powerful laptop.
Process

How we work

  1. 01

    Motion plan

    2–3 days

We decide what moves and how: section reveals, text, transitions. Then we set shared easing curves and timing.

You get A page-by-page motion map with timing and easing
  2. 02

    Prototypes

    2–4 days

We build the key animations in the browser to agree on the feel of the motion before development.

You get A demo of the key animations at a link
  3. 03

    Page animation

    5–8 days

We build scroll animation and text reveals with GSAP and hook them into the site markup.

You get Animation running on a staging version of the site
  4. 04

    Page transitions

    2–3 days

We make pages change smoothly with no white flash, keeping scroll position and browser history intact.

You get Page transitions on the staging version
  5. 05

    QA and launch

    1–2 days

We check smoothness on low-end devices and reduced-motion mode, then go live.

You get Live animation plus a 3-month bug warranty
Getting started

What to prepare for animation

What we need from you
  • Links to sites where you like the motion, and where it annoys you
  • Mockups or motion prototypes, if they already exist
  • Repository access and a description of the stack
  • The pages and sections that most need to come alive
  • Browsers and devices you must support
Before we start

A site and references review

On a 30-minute call we look at your site and examples and decide where motion helps reading. Afterwards we send a list of animations, a timeline and an estimate.

Animation & transitions

Does your site
feel static?

We’ll add text reveals, scroll animation and page transitions without white screens, in one rhythm and without hurting speed.

We only animate what browsers render cheaply and test smoothness on low-end devices.

From $3,000. The total depends on how many pages and sections get motion, how complex the scroll sequences are and whether you need page transitions without reloads. For an existing website we quote after reviewing its front-end code.

Yes, most effects layer on top of the existing front-end.

With “reduce motion” enabled in the system, animation softens or turns off while the content stays fully available.

GSAP and CSS, with page transitions handled by the framework, no reloads.
